I’d argue that now, more than ever, is the most important time to start losing weight.
With all the uncertainty in the world right now there are ALWAYS two things you can control in regards to your health:
- How You Move
- What You Put Into Your Body
And when you make a commitment to your health.
When you CHOOSE to exercise daily.
When you CHOOSE to eat healthy.
Not only will you lose weight and transform your body.
You will start to build confidence.
Not because you look better.
Not because other people are taking notice of how you look.
But because YOU are the one making those decisions.
And when YOU set out to do something and YOU follow through.

Fortunately, losing weight isn’t complicated and YOU can absolutely do it without having access to the gym.
More importantly you don’t need to:
❌ Only Eat Clean
❌ Exercise Every Day
❌ Cut Out ALL the Carbs
❌ Follow a Strict Meal Plan
❌ Do Hours of Mind-Numbing Cardio
Deep down, you know there’s something more that you can be doing to look and feel the way you want.
Not to mention, avoid serious health issues and the impact that ignoring your health will inevitably have on your life.
Yes, the risks are very real with being overweight:
- High Blood Pressure
- High Cholesterol
- Heart Disease
Now is the time for you to stop avoiding the inevitable changes you know deep down you NEED to make.

1️⃣ Don’t Eat TOO Much
The only way to lose weight is to be in a calorie deficit.
Specifically, eating less calories than what your body is burning.
It’s scientifically impossible to lose weight if you’re eating too many calories.
I don’t care which diet you choose:
Keto, Fasting, Vegan, Paleo, Weight Watchers…
If you eat too many calories you won’t lose weight.
Find a rough estimate of how many calories and what they should consist of using this link and stick close to the numbers provided by using a food tracker app:
2️⃣ Don’t RESIST Exercise
Cardio is okay…
But resistance bands or bodyweight moves are GREAT.
This will help you build muscle.
Muscle will shape your body and keep your metabolism running high.
3️⃣ Don’t Forget The Protein
Protein will put your metabolism into a state where it’s building muscle.
When you’re building muscle…
You’ll be burning fat.
It’ll also keep you fuller for longer periods of time.
4️⃣ Don’t Overdo It
You don’t need to exercise twice a day.
Heck, you don’t even need to exercise everyday.
Schedule of 3-5 days/wk to exercise.
And make sure to have some rest days to let your body recover.
5️⃣ Don’t Do It Alone
You know those times.
Those times when exercising sounds like the worst idea in the world.
It’s going to happen.
So you might as well except it and prepare for it when it does.
Make sure you have someone who can push you and keep you on track.
Things are always better with friends anyway.

Taking care of your health is the easiest way to start taking CONTROL of your life.

✅ What You Eat
Are entirely up to YOU.
And the sooner you start taking control of those things the happier and more confident you’ll be.
Despite what you’ve heard from all the conflicting theories on the interweb…
Losing weight isn’t complicated or quite frankly even that hard.
- You don’t need to do hours of mind numbing cardio
- You don’t need to meal prep
- You definitely don’t need to starve yourself… AKA intermittent fasting.
All YOU need to do is follow the steps above.
Because the truth is, the problems you’re facing right now…
- Rock bottom energy levels
- Declining self confidence
- Excessive belly fat
Aren’t going to get better on their own.
They are only going to continue to get worse until you choose to make a change.
